Tasks

Tasks and their deliverables are the heart of any project management system and Project Collaborator displays them in a clear and concise shaded table format. Here anyone can review the task requirements, status, responsible party, due date and insert task by task comments detailing their opinions in a direct target manner.

The task structure is also flexible, allowing individual requirements to be broken down into smaller discrete steps. These discrete steps are displayed as task deliverables or when appropriate the task may be broken down into small sub-tasks to better track its completion. Either way the operator may work with them individually or as a group.

All of the task's supporting features are also integrated inline with their contents. From this table, an operator with proper permissions may update the status, add or modify a task and/or its requirements, contribute a comment, and record labor hours.
